More like "The War OF Terror."
This painting contains the names of
170 Iraqi civilians(aged "infant" to 85 years old) that the United States has slaughtered,
in the name of oil.
It would take about 12 of these canvases to include the names of every dead Iraqi civilian
recorded here as of the time of original submission to dA.
As of 10/24/05, it would take a total of approximately
176 more of these canvases to write every name of every Iraqi the United States has ruthlessly murdered.
That's not even considering the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi people killed as a result of US sanctions(low estimates are around 1,000,000 deaths, and high estimates are around 2,000,000 deaths).

Very powerful deviation. I love what you've done. People need to remember that war has consequences and that people are not expendable casualties.
My grandfather fought in WWII and we found a photograph of probably at least a hundred dead Italians laying on a field. Apparently there were six survivors from this group and told he soldiers my grandfather was with that the Nazis had gassed them. Not sure what those Italians did to piss the Nazis off so much. My guess is they probably just got in the Nazis way.
It's so terrible that so many people have died just because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time during a war.
I hate the War on Terror. War OF Terror, indeed.
I don't get the point of genocides or wars. They're just stupid. Who thinks they have the right to take someone else's life away from them?
It makes me angry that it confuses me so much. I just...Ugh, I don't even know the word to say. Maybe I'm just too stupid to be able to understand it.
if people want change, the only war that can change things is a civil war..
